My heart is secured
with yours my love
In a musical garland—
Would you ever know
In the many wondrous ways
I have found you unawares
In my hours of devotion solitary.
Along the paths of the impassioned heart
Mingles the breath
Of Bokool, the fresh spring flower
And the rhythm of my poet's verse—
Would you ever know!
But a veil of colorful adornment
Hides your name
I behold your form
That is formless
And create your image
With the lithesome radiance of spring.
The tunes of Lalit and Vasant
Are at play in my flute
And there in the gold horizon
Glimmers your vestment
Ardent with that cadence and melody.
